An Old Chrysafakis Tune

Here’s a great old Chrysafakis tune (1932), Οι δυο Σερετες (Two Quibblers). The song is an exchange between a man named Yiannis and another, Vangelis. The recording was made at the workshop of Dimitris Rapakousios. In the original, Dalgas and Kasimatis sing.

“I’m Yiannis of Psirri, ten years I spent in Syngrou prison….And I’m Vangeli….”
